Cinderblock flower pot

For my project this week I went to Home Depot for some of the things I needed! I painted a cinderblock with white paint. Then I used my cricut to cut out a tree and grass that I used to stencil onto the block. I then used the three little flowers from peachy keens April stamp of the month along with the peachy keen baby bee stamp. The “busy little bee” is stenciled on with one of my letter stencils. Then I used paint markers to color it all in. I also put a clear coat that you can use on concrete outdoors to help protect from weather. Then I filled the holes with potting soil and added Celosia because my back yard doesn’t get a whole lot of shade I needed a flower that took full sun!  This is one block of many more to come; I plan of lining my whole back yard with these flower pots because I have a dog that likes to dig by the fence!

Our 3 little ducks scrapbook layout

Hello everyone! For this week’s peachy keen challenge what inspired me was the color so I made this scrapbook page with pictures of my three babies!

The 12 x 12 scrapbook paper is from the playtime stack paper pack that I got for 5.00 at Michaels! The paper in this pack is super cute and I couldn’t believe the deal on it! For the green rolling hills I used green card stock and layered them. Then I used my peeled paint distress marker to put stitching around the hills. The border around the pictures is done with red card stock and white gel pen. The saying about the main picture is printed on blue card stock. Then the stitching as well as the writing on the hill by the three little ducks was done with my barn door distress marker.
Now for my favorite part of this page the three cute little ducks! These are from the peachy keen stamp of the month for April! These little guys are too darn cute! I stamped them out on yellow card stock paper and then hand cut them out. Then colored their feet and bills in. On their eyes I used white gel pen and then glossy accents. I really enjoyed making this page and getting to use these stamps!

Bday Card for Tina

I made this card for my husband’s sister. Her birthday is coming up this month. The little fairy and “wishing you a fairy happy birthday” are stamps from peachy keen stamps PK-121 Mini Fairies and Girl Gnomes. I think these are just so cute!

One of the reasons I love the way this card is because how it can be set up makes it perfect to slide a gift card in for a nice little surprise!

Paper Lantern Night Light

For this project I used a LED lit paper lantern to make and night light for a baby boy’s room. I then used peachy keen stamps from Feb. 2013 and stamped them right onto the lantern and colored them in with markers. For the lettering and small stars I used vinyl and cut it with my cricut.

Baby Shower Card

I made this card to go with the diaper cake that I made for my friend Tammi.  I used some of the ribbon that I used on the diaper cake and then my cricut to cut out the shapes. The oh baby and baby face stamp is from Peachy Keen Stamps!

Diaper Cake for Tammi

I made this diaper cake for a good friend of mine who is having a baby shower this coming weekend!  The It’s a Boy came from a SVG from KaDoodle Bug Designs and everything else came from Wal-Mart.

Anitas Birthday Gift

I made this chalk board for a really good friend of mine. She loves coffee J I got a simple board from the craft department at Wal-Mart and used chalk contact paper to cover it. I used small red ribbon to frame it and then used my cricut to cut the font and added a few small flowers.
For the little girl I used a SVG file that I got from KaDoodle Bug Designs and I used one of the face stamps from peachy keen stamps also the saying on the cup is from peachy keen stamps J

When writing on the chalk board I found it better to use liquid chalk in place of normal chalk J
The card that I made to go with it was cut using my cricut and so were the flowers and butterflies. The little wooden stars and little cupcake came from Freckled Fawn and the stamps came from Peachy Keen J for the inside the bear is from Peachy Keen and I used a duck tape sheet to cover the heart J
I am hoping to get these in the mail today so she will be able to enjoy them as much as I have enjoyed making them for her.  J

Spring Time Wreath

I made this wreath to hang on my door. When I first started it I didn’t think it would take me that long but it ended up taking about 7 days from start to finish.  The first thing that I did was get these single fat quarter pieces of fabric from Wal-Mart. I cut them into little squares and then took push pins and pinned them to a straw wreath that I also got from Wal-Mart.  This was the longest part of the project taking me about 6 days to complete. The green flower and two butterflies I also bought at Wal-Mart.  After I was done with the fabric I used my cricut to cut out the font using the cuttin’ up cartridge in size 2 in font. The two bunnies are from peachy keen stamps of the month March 2013 J how I did them was stamped out the bunnies on the different colors that I wanted and then hand cut them and glued the pieces together.  I really enjoyed doing this project and look forward to being able to hang this on my front door for years to come <3
